STUDENT MATERIALS

·         Black or Blue Pens or pencil, a 3 ring binder for handouts, notebook paper, maps etc.. On days when tests are given, bring a pencil. I will not provide pencils for student use.

·         Textbook: One will be checked out to each student. You may use that text without marking in it.

·         The text will be supplemented with primary and secondary source documents, time lines, maps, and other class materials. Please get a notebook in which to keep these documents.

·         Internet Access is vital as my web page and AP Central’s Web Page has important information needed to succeed in this class

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY

·    I will be available to help students after school or meet with parents.

·    Study Sessions and/or appointments will be: Mon. through Thurs.  from 2:50 to 4:00.

·    Students should make appointments in advance to make up exams.

·     Students should have rides ready to pick them up after study sessions.

CLASSROOM RULES (Includes county policies)

• Be in your assign set when the bell rings

• Raise your hand (wait to be called on) if you would like to speak or leave you seat

• Do not disrupt the class in anyway.

• Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

• Respect yourself and others at all times.

• No food or drink in the class

• No electronic devices should be visible during class (i.e. cellular phones, CD or tape players, IPods etc...)

• All school rules will be enforced

• To leave the room you need to use your school planner. No hall passes the first or last ten minutes of class
